Odour Control Solutions for a Variety of Applications

Your cooking activity will determine the odour control measures you require. For example a fish and chip restaurant means high odour and high grease. A steakhouse or BBQ-style diner will produce high odour, high grease and high smoke.

Different product types work to combat the different by-products of your cooking and, whilst your operation may only require one or two of these elements, there’s a chance depending on your style of cooking that you will require a permutation of them all. If your business has no neighbours, then odour control may never be an issue.

Types of Odour Control Systems

UV Systems

These use technology to produce ozone which oxidises cooking odours through a process called ozonolysis.

There are canopy-mounted and also in-duct options to achieve this.

ESP (Electro-Static Precipitators)

These work by ionising and trapping smoke and grease particles on to collector plates.

They have a high removal efficiency and can remove as much as 99.5% of smoke and grease particles from your system.

They have a modular fit which can be doubled or tripled to cope with the air flow rates of your extract system.

Carbon Filtration Systems

Carbon is an ideal way to remove unpleasant and sometimes dangerous gases from a number of sources.

This makes carbon filtration an ideal addition to a kitchen ventilation system to stem the odour of smoke and grease.

Carbon filtration comes in block, bag or pleated panel format and we manufacture ductwork to house the filters accordingly.
